Preschool Room – Sunshine Room
The Sunshine Room is divided into 5 groups. The Bumble Bees, Butterflies, Dragonflies, Scooby Doos, and Lady bugs.
Sunshine Room Schedule
7:15 Sunshine Room Opens- free play
7:45 Open craft at the red table
8:00 Snack is served (served until 9:00)
8:40 School children are escorted to school
9:15- 9:30 Clean- up and getting ready for circle time and outdoor/ gym time
9:30- 10:30 Groups 1 &2 bathrooming and get ready for gym/ outdoor play
Groups 3, 4, & 5 circle time and free play
10:30- 11:30 Groups 1 & 2 return from outdoor play/ gym time- circle time and free play
Groups 3, 4, & 5 bathrooming and get ready for outdoor play/ gym time
11:45 School children return
Napping Children
11:15- 11:45 Story time, free play
11:45- 12:30 Lunch time and bathrooming
12:30- 2:30 Naptime
2:30- 3:15 Wake up from nap- Bathrooming and snack
Non-napping Children
11:30- 12:00 Free play and story time
12:00- 1:00 Lunch time and free play
12:45 School children are escorted to school
1:00- 2:30 Outdoor play if weather permits or gym play
2:30-3:15 Snack time
3:15- 5:15 Outdoor play if weather permits/gym time, and afternoon crafts and activities
3:40 School children return and have snack
5:15- 5:45 Children return from the gym/Outdoor play
Story time/quiet play
The schedule is flexible and may be changed to accommodate the children’s needs
