Annual General Meeting and Call for Nominations

Attention Parents!
We are seeking parents to join our Board of Directors for a 2 year term beginning June 18th,2024
The Board meets approximately 10 times per year (once a month) for approximately 2 hours.
This year we are in need of at least 5 people to run ( or re-run if your current term is expiring)
Nominations and application to join the board will occur as follows:
- Number of open board member positions will be determined prior to the AGM see above!
- A nominating committee will be set up
- A call for nominations will be included with AGM notices and postings with a deadline for applications
- All interested parties must provide to the nomination committee their name and reason for wanting to join the Board ( short answer😊)
- The nominating committee will review applications prior to the AGM and ensure applicants meet the criteria as outline in by-law 3.01
- The slate of applicants will be presented at the AGM for vote by the members present
- Should there be insufficient applicants to meet the vacancies, the board will engage in a recruitment process
- There will be no nominations accepted from the floor at the AGM unless by-law 3.01 is not met by the time of the AGM
